About Me

I started out life in a small town in Canada called Thunder Bay. My first introduction into the world of programming was the beginning of high school. During this time, I would make little javascript games for class using a library for javascript called processing.js. It was during this time that I fell in love with programming and decided to major Computer Science after graduation.

Venturing beyond the realm of games, I pursued a formal education in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, honing my skills in the real depth that computer science had to offer. This shift injected new life into my abilities, enabling me to craft dynamic, interactive web and mobile applications. University not only provided a deep dive into the intricacies of coding but also set the stage for my participation in multiple hackathons, fueling my passion for innovation.

Eager for more, I found myself drawn to Vancouver, where I immersed myself in the crypto space. I worked as a backend engineer contributed to the development of Japan's largest crypto exchange, coin.z.com, under the umbrella of a subcontractor. The experience was both exhilarating and challenging, shaping my understanding of the dynamic world of cryptocurrencies.

Continuing my journey, I embraced the ethos of open source by joining a small startup, commonwealth.im, a crypto social media site. This stint of full stack work not only expanded my technical repertoire but also connected me with the vibrant community shaping the future of decentralized technologies.

With each step, my story weaves together a tapestry of diverse experiences, from coding games in javascript to contributing to the fabric of the crypto revolution. As I continue to learn and innovate, the journey unfolds, promising new challenges and exciting possibilities in the vast realm of software development.
